eRecord Update Meetings

As we prepare to implement the new electronic health records system, we want to share with you our progress.  

In September 2007, we held our first Clinical Communications Meeting where we met with NMG providers and practice managers.  During this meeting we provided a demonstration of the electronic health record and discussed key issues surrounding the eRecord implementation. The meetings was led by our own Dr. Chris Madden, Medical Director of Clinical Information Systems for Novant Medical Group.

Standardization Efforts

Standardization Committee Purpose and Function

A Physician Standardization Committee has been established as a clinical advisory group (to the Medical Director) for the design and construction of eRecord.  They will work with the Medical Director, Dr. Chris Madden, to ensure the application is useful and efficient across NMG.
