Critical Care Transport
Whether your patient is adult, pediatric or neonatal, we are equipped to care for them with all the technology, medication and resources you would find in a hospital critical care unit. With our Critical Care Transport services comes a seamless level of hospital-quality care from the point of pick-up to the final destination. This gives the patient the best chance for recovery. Our vehicles are equipped with:
One Call Does It All You can reach us around the clock by calling 1-800-949-2066. We'll handle everything from sending the vehicle to your patient, to arranging for a physician to receive the patient, if needed, and arranging for a bed or admission. Throughout the process we make communication one of our top priorities - not only with family members and patients, but with the referring team. Referring hospitals receive a follow-up written report on the patient's prognosis and outcome after they have received treatment at one of our facilities. We'll also handle all of the necessary paperwork required by health plans. As a result, the sending hospital is not required to guarantee payment upfront. Our Service Area Our vehicles are based at Novant's flagship hospitals: Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte and Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. We can serve patients within 120 miles of either facility. While we routinely service the counties noted below, service is not limited to these counties: North Carolina Counties: Alexander, Alleghany, Anson, Ashe, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Gaston, Gilford, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, Richmond, Rockingham, Rowan, Stanly, Stokes, Surry, Union, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin South Carolina Counties: Cherokee, Chesterfield, Greenville, Kershaw, Lancaster, Richland, Spartanburg, York Virginia Counties: Carroll, Grayson, Patrick For More Information To contact the Critical Care Transport team, call 1-800-949-2066. |
