Presbyterian Hospital has a New Endovascular Operating Suite
Presbyterian Hospital's endovascular suite offers new capabilities in the treatment of vascular disease.

Presbyterian Hospital has the region's first operating room-based endovascular suite. The cardiovascular operating room with fixed imaging equipment allows for catheter-based procedures as well as open or combination surgeries. Capabilities include:

The suite can be used for vascular interventions but can also accommodate open procedures, if appropriate, based on the patient's anatomy or if the problem is more extensive than expected.

Common vascular conditions requiring expert consultation and treatment include:

  • Carotid stenting
  • Subclavian stenosis
  • Thoracic aortic dissection
  • Thoracic aortic aneurysm
  • Renal artery stenosis
  • Mesenteric artery stenosis
  • Lower extremity peripheral vascular disease
  • Upper extremity peripheral vascular disease
