CBCC was created in 2002 to provide a reliable blood supply at predictable prices and to provide choice for local physicians. The center puts control of the blood supply into the hands of the community through its local board of directors and emphasizes regulatory compliance and outstanding customer service.
CBCC provides the following services to Presbyterian Healthcare patients:
- Pre-surgery self donations collected by appointment only on the first floor at Midtown Medical Plaza, 1918 Randolph Road, Charlotte. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Pre-surgery self donations and therapeutic phlebotomies collected by appointment only at CBCC's donor center, 4447 South Boulevard, Charlotte. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
